Citizen science and technology in the context of environmental degradation - exploring paths for collaboration and impact in Latin-America and The Netherlands

It is our pleasure to invite you to an event exploring the present and future of citizen science and technology, frugal innovation and environmental degradation. Researchers and practitioners working on these topics in Latin America and the Netherlands will come together to reflect on their experiences and discuss ways to advance inclusive and sustainable citizen science. We want to invite all of those working on and interested in these topics to join us to listen and participate in the discussion.

This event is organized by the Prince Claus Chair with support from Open Science NL. It takes place on 3 April 2025, from 12:30-17:00, at ISS (Kortenaerkade 12, The Hague), in Aula B.

To encourage interaction and connection we hope you’ll participate in person, but for those unable to attend in person there will be an option to follow a livestream.
