Prof. dr. Ria Reis

Ria Reis is Professor of Medical Anthropology at Leiden University Medical Centre, Associate Professor of Sociology and Cultural Anthropology at University of Amsterdam and joint-director of the Anthropology of Health, Care and the Body research program at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR). Within the International Centre for Frugal Innovation she is project leader of the Frugal Thermometer project together with Dr. ir. J.C. Diehl. Furthermore she is a member of the research team in the Responsible Entrepreneurship and Frugal Innovation project. 

Ria's research focuses on:

• the health and wellbeing of children and youth; and
• ethnography articulation within multidisciplinary research and interventions.
